Sports play a very important role in our lifes.

Sports keep our body and mind fit. If mind and body are fit, it helps in the overall development of one's personality.

Energy increases and one remains happy and positive.

Before the arrival of chief guest, children did some PT exercises. They shouted 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and 'Vande Matram' slogans.

The chief guest of the event was madam Kamaljeet Sehrawat, the leader of SDMC, councillor and ex Mayor. Flag hoisting ceremony was done by madam Kamaljeet ji followed by Jana gana mana. The short and sweet message by the Chief Guest was full of motivation and enthusiasm. The guest of honour was a renowned cricketer and now a coach, Mr Uttam Mazumdar. He was accompanied by his budding cricket stars, Mr. Mohit Sharma (Dhoni look alike) and expected to be future wicket keeper, Mr.Faizal future runs scoring machine and Mr.Arvind Kumar who was part of Chennai Super King. They were all great attractions for our Sewa Bharti children. Children got autographs from these famous but very humble cricket personalities.

Mr.Uttam Mazumdar is doing very noble work.

He has his a cricket academy in Gr Noida and he coaches cricketers from to basti children absolutely free. There are 70 such students in his cricket academy. Mr Mazumdar motivated Sewa Bharti children.

From all centres of Dwarka Zila nearly 80 children participated. Stitching class girls also participated.

Teachers and Sewa Bharti karyakartas also participated in 100m race.

Children were very excited and full of Josh. T-Shirts were distributed to all children, teachers and karyakartas with Sewa Bharti logo printed on them. They all were looking very smart.

All Participants got participation certificates.

Winners were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals like any other great sports event.

At the end delicious food was served.
